Today was amazing.
Day 3 was full of rainforest adventure, perfect waves and soft sand.
When looking for things to do in San Juan with kids, I came across RST Puerto Rico Tours.
Now, we could actually never leave San Juan Marriott and be totally happy, but I thought a little Puerto Rico education and adventure might do the tween some good.
And, my lounge chair will be waiting for me tomorrow…. 
Back to the tour.
RST Puerto Rico offered a full day tour that covered 2 San Juan attractions on my list: El Yunque and Luquillo Beach.
And, they totally delivered.
Our day began with El Yunque, the only rainforest in the US Forest System.
Incredible.
Our tour guide, “Mr. O’Neil” was funny, professional and SO knowledgeable about everything from history to culture to the local ecology.
After a few hours at El Yunque (we saw the falls, observation tower and one of the trails), we stopped at a local place for lunch and then headed to Luquillo Beach.
It was heavenly. Soft, lapping waves, crystal fine sand- everything you’d want from a tropical beach.
And, just in case you need to hear some zen right now…
We had a great time and a great tour with RST Puerto Rico!

I bet that rain forest is more breath taking in person! And I love that what looks like lifeguard towers are purple!
