Mama Bears.

“Mama Bear”.

If you are a mom, you’ve had a moment.

A moment you would do anything to protect your child.

I’ve had a few BIG mama bear moments over the past 11 years.

I have small ones everyday.

Like paying attention to the food I serve my family.

Or saying no, when it would be easier to say yes.

Or showering him in hugs and kisses.

Or laughing at all his jokes and listening to his stories.

Or cheering from the stands as he heads up to bat.

“Mama bear”.

The term comes from the animal world, but fits perfectly with us human mamas.

We would do anything we could for the protection and survival of our offspring.

Period.

Polar Bear mothers are natures example.

And right now, the future of their offspring is in jeopardy.

That’s why the  WWF and the work they do to protect polar bears is so important.

Right now, Coca Cola is working to support the WWF’s efforts by changing the classic red can to white.

I encourage you to check out the information and stats at Coca Cola’s Artic Home Site.

There, you can find information on polar bears, how to help and even a tracking tool {so cool}.

Its time we go “mama bear” and get fiercely protective over our world’s wild life so that its around for our children’s children.

What Can YOU do?

For everyone who texts the package code to 357357 to make a $1 donation to WWF, Coke will match it — up to $1 million! People can also make donations online at ArcticHome.com, starting November 1. The limited-edition white cans and bottle caps will be on store shelves November 1, 2011 to February 2012.

What are your “mama bear” moments?
